JacobsGen, as a ministry, and its directors and staff, are under the leadership of Dr. Robert A Moore Jr., Executive Director for Freedom Outreach International and Ministry to the Military, and the Board of Directors for FOI. JG has been directed by licensed youth ministers, Brian and Jennie Humann, for the past 20 years. While in the US Army, Brian and Jennie (with their three children) were based in Belgium and Germany for 12 years. Brian and Jennie are a product of FOI’s discipleship/training and have been involved with serving military youth since early 1993. In 2011, Brian retired from the US Army and is employed in the Washington DC area, where they continue to lead the ministry. Jennie has worked professionally in non-profit organizational leadership and coordinates/directs all overseas events.
Children's ministry (JG Kid-Min) is led by Ryan and Angie Miller who live in the Fayetteville, NC area. The Miller's are also both licensed ministers and raise funds and mission teams throughout the year to provide amazing, fun and life-changing children's ministry for FOI annual Spring and Fall Retreats as well as summer camps for school-age children.
Brian and Jennie's vision for JG is simple: train volunteers worldwide to serve all military children, youth and families with relevant, impactful programs. Jennie is currently developing curriculum and leadership resources which will be provided without cost to partner ministries and non-profit organizations. The Humann's lead volunteer teams under the premise that no youth is too far away and each is deserving of the time, energy and resources to reach them.
